Privacy Policy
Effective October 1, 2026
OneTimeApps (“we”, “us”) is a collection of small, browser-based tools. We built them so you can get a task done without handing over your data. This policy explains what little information is involved when you use the site.
The short version
- There are no accounts and no sign-up.
- If you message us through the contact form, we use your details only to reply.
- Our tools process your files and text in your browser. They are not uploaded to us.
- We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use advertising trackers.
Content you use with our tools
When you paste text, open a file, or enter data into one of our tools, that processing happens locally on your device. We do not receive, store, or have access to that content. If a specific tool ever needs to send data to a server to work, we will say so clearly on that tool before you use it.
Information stored on your device
We use your browser’s local storage to remember preferences such as your light or dark theme choice. This information stays on your device, is never sent to us, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings. We do not use cookies for tracking.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, the servers that host OneTimeApps may record standard request information, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the time of the request. This is used only to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service, and is kept for a limited period.
Contact form
If you use the contact form on our About page, we receive the name, email address, and message you submit. We use this only to reply to you, and we don’t add you to mailing lists or share it with anyone else, apart from the email provider that delivers the message.
Third-party services
We rely on a hosting provider to serve the site. Some tools may link to or load resources from third parties; those parties have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.
Children’s privacy
OneTimeApps is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights
Because we don’t keep accounts or the content you work with, we generally hold no personal data about you. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. If you have a request or question, contact us and we’ll respond.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the effective date above. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
